Artichokes at �Romana style"
(4 servings)
Ingredients
8 artichokes
4 cloves of garlic
1 lemon
2 glasses dry white wine
1 bunch of parsley
extra-virgin olive oil, salt and pepper
Preparation method
Wash the artichokes and cut them removing the external leaves, the stems and the tips. Dip them in some water with lemon for 15 minutes
Drain and then stuff their hearts with a mixture of garlic, parsley, salt and pepper.
Let them cook in abundant oil together with the diced stems
Add wine and water, covering them completely.
Cook on a low flame until the oil evaporates
