It has a particular oblong
form and a beautiful dark red colour. It is very appreciated
thanks to its firmness.

Poor in calories but with a firm pulp, Cencara tomato on the vine
is rich in vitamins A and C and minerals which have a detoxifying
and diuretic function. It has moreover a high lycopene content,
which gives its deep red colour and reduces heart disease, prostate
and stomach cancer.

Either cooked of raw, it is very appreciated in Mediterranean kitchen.
It is particularly indicated for any kind of salads, pizza, sauces
for pasta, meat or fish dishes. Its juice is a tasty appetizer.
