Melon is rich in vitamin A, C and salts. It has a refreshing and
laxative action and for this reason it is advisable against sedentary
life and laziness of intestine.
Cooking suggestion
It can be eaten in different ways: alone, with ham or mixed with
“Macedonia”, cakes, ice cream or milk shake. It should
be kept at a temperature of 5°C, otherwise it may become too
soft and red spots may appear on its peel.
